Wild Turbot
(Reinhardtius hippoglossoides)

Our turbot is dense yet delicate and is sold as a whole fish, gutted and head off—or head on (for younger and smaller fish). Turbot is also known as Greenland halibut.

Catch Method

The turbot is fished about 200km off the northern coast of Fogo Island, between Fogo and Greenland. It is caught in trawl nets, and bycatch is managed and returned to the ocean.
